About Our Organization
In response to the AIDS pandemic in Africa, Peace House Foundation formed in 2001 with the goal of providing a long-term solution to this pervasive problem. In the years following, PHF has grown to currently support over 500 orphaned children in Tanzania, giving them the opportunity to attend school and the hope for a brighter future. Last September, PHF welcomed the first class of 120 students to Peace House Secondary School, an innovative boarding school in Arusha, Tanzania. In addition to teaching the traditional subjects, the unique PHS curriculum focuses on teaching entrepreneurial skills, giving these students the tools they’ll need to become job creators in their communities which will sustain and improve the economy in their country.
In the spirit of giving hope, Peace House Foundation is dedicated to educating Africa’s orphans and vulnerable children in a nurturing environment within their homeland.
